Our Legacy

D.D. French Cleaners has been a trusted name in the Dallas dry cleaning industry since 1959. Founded by Durwood “D.D.” French and his wife Nina, the business began with a commitment to quality care and personal service. Their daughter, Shirley, later carried on the family tradition, bringing decades of leadership and industry expertise to the company.

In 2025, the business entered a new chapter with new ownership—led by Jeff, a seasoned professional with 38 years of experience in spotting, dry cleaning, and operations management. After managing day-to-day operations at DD French for 13 years, Jeff took the reins as owner, proud to carry forward the legacy of excellence the French family built over decades.

But let’s be honest—this place doesn’t run on just me. It takes our whole DD French family to make the magic happen.

Jovita, John, Cristina, Aurora, Yancey, Guadalupe, Graciela, Teresita, Ronda, and Nidia bring a whopping 213 years of combined experience to the table—and they truly love taking care of your clothes (and your family) like their own."

Meet the Team

  • Jeff & Ronda B.

    Jeff & Ronda are the Owners of DD French, they bought the business from the original owner in 2025. Jeff is also our production/plant manager & professional dry cleaner and Ronda is the office manager. Jeff has been with the DD French family for 13 years and has been in the dry cleaning business for 38 years. Ronda is a retired nurse. When they are not at work, they enjoy anything outdoors and spending time with their grandkids.

  • Jovita R.

    Jovita is our front counter manager. She has been with the DD French family for 30 years and has been in the dry cleaning business for 42 years. When Jovita is not at work she enjoys spending time with her great grand babies, watching TV, resting, and reading the Bible.

  • John B.

    John’s position is front counter/customer service. He has been with the DD French family his entire career in dry cleaning, 24 years! When John is not at work, he enjoys listening to music and gaming.

  • Yancey G

    Yancey is our newest team member, (almost one year now) he is our dry clean apprentice and also works front counter. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering with his cars, and watching football.

  • Aurora C.

    Aurora’s position Is final Inspection and alterations. She has been with the DD French family for 7 years and has been in the dry cleaning business for 12 years. When Aurora is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

  • Christina Q.

    Christina’s position is assembly and inspection. She has been with the DD French family for 29 years and has been in the dry cleaning business for 38 years. When Christina is not at work, she enjoys reading the bible, playing with her grandkids, watching TV, and attending church

  • Teresita E.

    Teresita’s position is cotton dry clean presser. She has been with the DD French family for 5 years and has been in the dry clean business for 22 years. When Teresita is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her children.

  • Guadalupe E.

    Guadalupe’s position is shirt presser. She has been with the DD French family for 4 years and has been in the dry cleaning business for 21 years. When Guadelupe is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her children.

  • Graciela M.

    Graciela’s position is pant presser. She has been with the DD French family for 3 years and has been in the dry cleaning business for 27 years. When Graciela is not at work, she enjoys watching Netflix and spending time with her kids and her sister.
