Dry Cleaning is a process used to clean clothing that does not involve water. Instead clothes are cleaned with a solvent. Each garment is inspected and prespotted (per care label) by a professional dry cleaner. Garments that require dry cleaning come out of the machine dry! Some examples of dry clean materials are: wool, silk, linen, cashmere, suede, rayon, velvet, and synthetics.

Laundry is the process of washing with commercial detergents in water and machine finishing while damp. This process removes water soluble stains and brightens whites. Some examples of laundered materials are cottons, cotton/poly blends, and denim.

Wet Cleaning is a process used for very delicate or sheer fabrics so that the integrity of the material can be maintained. A professional dry cleaner will control the water temperatures while using minimal water and delicate soaps.
